In order to prepare graduates with a strong foundation of essential knowledge and skills, the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering is working to improve both the quantity and quality of education. It is committed to developing its curricula and achieving the quality of its outputs; it is also concerned with student projects and fostering an environment of creativity, excellence, and innovation among them. Ultimately, this will result in the labor market receiving highly skilled workers with exceptional competencies and capabilities in the field of information technology that keep up with its rapid developments. Aside from a qualified and committed administrative staff eager to carry out their work carefully and to the fullest extent, the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering boasts many competitive capabilities that have greatly contributed to its distinction. The faculty comprises teaching staff members of various ranks who hold doctorates from prestigious universities with distinguished research activity.
With the grace of Allah, the faculty's departments have continued to evolve to meet the demands of the modern world. The Information Technology Program, established in the 2020–2021 academic year, features a curriculum designed to develop students' programming skills across a range of subjects by embracing a modern technology-driven approach that keeps up with industry trends. By guiding students toward creating projects that benefit society and diverse institutions, the faculty also aims to identify qualitative answers to the software issues that manufacturers, businesses, governmental, and non-governmental organizations face.
We are proud of the hundreds of outstanding students who have graduated from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering since its founding in 1997. These students have achieved great success and left their mark on a variety of fields of work; many of the faculty’s highly qualified alumni hold prestigious positions at domestic and international universities, while others run their own software businesses or are employed by large corporations both domestically and abroad.
Finally, we pray to God Almighty for the faculty's teaching and administrative staff to succeed in fulfilling their missions and reaching their strategic goals and objectives. We also wish everyone the best of luck and well-being.
